Peter Grigoratos was one of the driving forces behind the formation of Texmate Textiles (Pty) Ltd, which he co-founded in September 2000, with further expansion in 2011 with the launch of Texmate Bakery Solutions (Pty) Ltd demonstrating his versatility and commitment to innovation across different sectors.

Peter's academic journey began in the United Kingdom, at Leicester Polytechnic, where he graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Textile and Knitwear Technology. With six years of industrial experience, he joined a leading South African machinery agency in 1979. Over the next two decades, he excelled in selling textile machinery, raw materials, and accessories, contributing significantly to the agency’s success while serving as a key member of the senior management team.

Beyond his professional achievements, Peter is passionate about wildlife and nature conservation, actively supporting initiatives in this domain. He is an avid sports enthusiast, particularly enjoying rugby, and loves reading biographies and listening to classical music. Above all, Peter is devoted to his family and grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them.
